Chiropractic as a profession started in 1895 by D.D. Palmer, who delivered a specific spinal adjustment to a man who had lost his hearing. As the patient explained, “Dr. Palmer treated me on the spine; in two treatments I could hear quite well. That was eight months ago. My hearing remains good.” While those results may be atypical, the application remains the same: find the cause of all the corresponding symptoms in your body and correct it. Chiropractors do not chase symptoms; we find the cause, fix it, and leave it alone so your body can begin to function at its optimal level again.
